Serving the food and beverage industries  Industrial Informatics Inc. was contracted by a major electrical component manufacturer to integrate a $25 million dollar plant expansion into a seamless data driven facility. We coordinated between various machine builders across the country to ensure that the final control systems and SCADA architectures fit the standards defined in the early stages of the projects planning.

Serving the automotive and assembly industries  Our final MES (manufacturing execution system) used Intellution/Proficy SCADA software for direct control, alarming, and downtime tracking with SQL Server for recipe and history storage. Custom applications were created in Visual Studio over OPC and DDE to interface with the system for Batch Scheduling Tracking. The integrated system controlled a network of machines from Spray Dryers and Presses to Kilns and Waste water treatment through PLCs standardized on Allen-Bradley PLC5 and SLC500 controllers. The project allows the customer to produce high quality components with a minimum staff.
